Donor's Choose!!

Hi CCATS,

I want to make sure my students have the materials they need to succeed. So I've created a classroom project request at DonorsChoose.org, an award-winning charity.

I'm asking for donations of any size to help my kids. For the next week, any donation you make to my project will be doubled (up to $100). If you know anyone who is passionate about education, please pass this along. Your donation will brighten my students' school year, and you'll get photos and thank yous from our class.

Here's my classroom request:

3rd Grade Invention Convention!!

The 3rd Grade had a great time showing off their inventions! After weeks of studying the invention process and working through the process to come up with their own invention, the hard work payed off with the praises from students, teachers, and family!

Ready for our guests!

Classes gathered around the students to hear the presentations.

Family and students mingled around the convention.

The students really enjoyed their family coming by!

Students were excited to learn about the inventions!

 It got pretty crowded!

Makayla found a way to keep her bookmarks handy with the bookmark organizer, Bryson wanted to see what he wrote even in the dark with his glowing ink pen, and Hannah found a way to keep up with stuff in a pocket book cover!

Lindsey wanted to be comfy and cozy with her blanket pillow, Tyrun tried to make cleaning easier with his spray n' scrub, and Jeramiah is keeping things clean with a portable car trash container!

Gavin found a way to organize ALL of my supply boxes, Marleigh organized a supply box, Connor created a pen to write in the dark with, and Jazmyne created a cup holder for her purse!

Camryn was ready for the sun with her hat/sunglasses combo, LaTaevia kept everyone safe with her scissor cover, Anaiyah found a way to keep kids entertained during the winter with the Hawaiian girl you could build, and Jada helped teachers by making pencils less breakable!

Jacyn wanted to help people get into large vehicles with her car stairs, Kaleb made cleaning a drain easier with his removable drain, and Jadon invented a way to keep those supply boxes closed when they get knocked off the desks!

Desi found a way to keep up with stuff in her shoe pockets, Ryan made sure no one could take his supplies with his safe-o-supplies, and Hattie found a cute way to keep up with her bobby pins and hair clips!

Kailey invented the helping hand to assist others, Eric wanted to find a way to keep and organize flash drives, and Trinity created write-on washable pajamas for a night of fun!
