After studying ocean animals and learning about the anatomy of fish, the 4th graders were able to pick one ocean animal to research and then attempt to recreate out of paper mache! This was a fun, messy, educational, messy, artistic, and did I mention MESSY! Here are some photos of some of the process!

Taysean, Caden, and Alex think painting is so much fun! |

Hope, Cadey, and Marylisa are being very careful! |
They looked a lot different with just newspaper on them! |
Did I mention this was messy? |
We had to prop up fins to keep them from flopping down! |
Caden and Jaecoby were all into the mache! |
Cobey and Marylisa are being careful! |
I think Taysean has more paper mache on him than on his fish! |
We had to set up a washing station in the room! Dylan is glad to be cleaning up! |
